Ruff racing wheels come from a category of a class of international status alloy products. This is the reason they are designed in style, using the most advanced technology. They come with features that make it possible for someone to comfortably race with them. In addition, the product is designed to be durable. Just like other quality products, the wheels need good maintenance and care in order to offer their owner good service for a long period of time.
The only detergent that should be used during cleaning is mild soap. Since the rims are plated with chrome, they are very sensitive. Weather elements and poor cleaning procedures are some of the reasons why the tire and wheel packages get damaged. It is important for the owner to have the wheel cleaned from time to time. The frequency with which they are washed should be increased during winter. Always make sure that both sides of the rims are cleaned in the process.
Make sure you have a bucket at your disposal. Squirt a small amount of detergent in the bucket and then dilute it with water. The water used should fill the bucket halfway. Take a rag and dip it into the diluted detergent. Use the wet rag to clean the rim on the front. Wipe every section of the rim before moving to the edges next to the tire.
Go to the back of the tire and clean the rear part also. Most people usually ignore this part of the rim during cleaning. Most of them forget that most of the dirt accumulates around this area. The accumulated dirt develops pits and ends up scratching the chrome plating.
Once the cleaning process is over, always make sure that the rims are dried off using the towel. Do not involve any chemicals in the cleaning process. If a manufacturer suspects that the rims were cleaned using chemicals, they retract their warranty.
The wheels should also be cleaned as well. However, during the cleaning process, they must be cooled off beforehand. Do not use the products in areas where salt and chemicals are used, especially during winter. If the products are used during cold weather, they need to be cleaned on a weekly basis.
There are chrome sealants sold in the market to protect such products from harsh weather like winter. Most of the manufacturers do not include pitting in their warranty. Since they are very particular about the issue, they know how to differentiate a pit from separation.
Most of the warranties are restricted to the front side of the rim. When the back side of the rim peels or pits, they absolve themselves of any responsibility. To avoid such conflict, make sure that the back of the rims are as clean as the front part.
In the event that Ruff Racing rim are not cleaned in the described manner, they will get damaged. Pitting can also occur when the custom car wheels is always exposed to salt or chemicals. Make sure that the rims are well cleaned to avoid such damages.
